The AgeWell Center, formerly known as the Burleigh County Senior Adults Program, has been serving Bismarck’s 60+ population since 1974. It is a community hub designed to help older adults live well and age well through a variety of programs and services. The center focuses on vitality, enrichment, connection, and purpose, offering everything from nutritious meals to health maintenance and lifelong learning opportunities. The AgeWell Center offers a comprehensive range of services to support the daily living and well-being of adults 60+. Nutrition services include congregate meals onsite, drive-thru/takeout options, and home-delivered meals for those with limited mobility. Health maintenance programs provide foot care, blood pressure checks, and blood sugar screenings to help seniors stay on top of their health. In addition to essential services, the center offers life enrichment activities such as guest speaker sessions, live entertainment, educational programs, and games. Fitness classes like yoga, strength training, and line dancing are available to promote physical health. The center also provides shuttle services for transportation to and from the facility, as well as outreach services to assist seniors and their families in navigating community resources. Assistive medical equipment is available for loan to improve mobility and safety.

The AgeWell Center is located at 315 North 20th Street in Bismarck, ND, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The center is closed on weekends. Shuttle services are available for transportation to and from the facility, making it accessible for those without personal transportation. The center accepts donations to support its programs, with various giving levels ranging from $50 to $1,000 and above. Donations can be made online or mailed to the center’s address.
