Share The Care is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting family caregivers and their loved ones. Share The Care provides comprehensive services to support both seniors and their caregivers. Their adult day centers offer licensed care with activities such as exercises, music, and nutrition education, along with hot lunches and snacks. Nursing staff is on-site to monitor health and administer medications. In-home respite care allows caregivers to take breaks while trained companions visit their loved ones. Overnight respite is available for emergencies or short vacations, with arrangements at assisted living facilities. Additional services include behavioral health support, caregiver counseling, and access to medical supplies. Share The Care's Maitland Adult Day Care Center is located at 710 Spring Lake Rd, Altamonte Springs, FL, and operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Payment options include a sliding fee scale based on income, private pay, and acceptance of the Long-Term Care Diversion Program. Medicare does not cover adult day care costs. Clients can access showers for an additional fee of $15, with caregivers providing toiletry items and towels. To enroll, families can tour the center, complete required paperwork, and submit a medical form from a physician.
