LifeWorks, previously known as Hearts & Hands, has been serving the Anchorage community since 1999, offering day services, respite, and transportation to elderly and disabled individuals. Their mission is to combat isolation and depression by providing social stimulation through a variety of activities and outings. The facility creates a homey atmosphere where clients can engage in table games, crafts, cultural presentations, and physical activities like billiards and Nintendo Wii games. LifeWorks also organizes holiday festivals, range-of-motion exercises, trivia, bingo, and sing-alongs to ensure a vibrant and engaging environment. The staff is dedicated to fostering a supportive community where clients can meet new friends and enjoy different surroundings. LifeWorks accepts private-pay, Medicaid Waiver, and VA funded clients, with a sliding fee scale available for private-pay individuals.

The facility accepts private-pay, Medicaid Waiver, and VA funded clients, with a sliding fee scale available for those who qualify.

LifeWorks is located at 744 E 13th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Transportation services are provided using modern, safe minivans and accessible vans. LifeWorks accepts private-pay, Medicaid Waiver, and VA funded clients, with a sliding fee scale available for private-pay individuals. Medicaid provider numbers are available for different locations, including Anchorage and Wasilla.
