Empath LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly) is a PACE program run by Empath Health, and its Bradenton care center serves Manatee and Sarasota county residents. Participants receive coordinated medical care and day care at the center, along with activities, group programs and shared meals. To enroll, a person must be 55 or older, certified by Florida as needing nursing home level of care, and able to live safely in the community.
