DayOut Adult Day Health Care Brawley

DayOut Adult Day Health Care Brawley is a family-owned medical day program on Main Street in Brawley, one of two DayOut centers that have operated in the Imperial Valley since 1996. It serves adults who want to keep living in the community, including people with cognitive impairment, dementia, diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney disease, COPD, stroke and other chronic conditions. Families describe attentive staff, therapy, and breakfast and lunch, and one says her grandmother looks forward to going each day. It is licensed by the California Department of Public Health as an Adult Day Health Care center.

Nursing staff provide assessments and help manage chronic conditions, and therapists design individual programs. Participants receive help as needed with toileting, bathing and grooming, along with social services, enriching activities, and a daily breakfast, hot lunch and snacks that can accommodate special diets. Door-to-door transportation between home and the center is provided at no additional cost.

DayOut Brawley is at 616 Main St, Brawley, CA 92227, and is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. It accepts Medi-Cal and managed care plans including Molina Healthcare, California Health and Wellness and Health Net, as well as the Veterans Administration and private pay.
