Among Friends Adult Day Center

Among Friends Adult Day Center is a social-model adult day program on South Poplar Street in Casper. It serves adults age 50 and older, mainly those living with physical or cognitive limitations, who live at home and return home each evening. The center aims to reduce isolation and help members stay active and connected while giving families support during the day. It offers pre-paid membership options, including full-time, part-time, morning, afternoon and flex schedules, and a staffing ratio of 1:6. It is licensed by the Wyoming Department of Health, Division of Aging, as an adult day care.

Staff provide safety supervision, daily medication reminders and supervised medication support, age-appropriate exercise, and monthly physical and cognitive health assessments. Hot lunches are catered by Kitchen Social, with morning and afternoon snacks and special diets available; take-home evening meals can be requested. Activities include puzzles, arts and crafts, live music, guest speakers and movement, plus outings to parks, libraries, museums and concerts. The facility has private resting rooms, private restrooms and showers, and a secure outdoor patio.
