Compton Adult Day Healthcare is a family-owned licensed provider of adult day health care and community-based services, serving the Lynwood and Compton area for over 20 years. They focus on adults with disabilities and/or impairments who are at risk of institutionalization, offering specialized memory care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or those recovering from neurological injuries. Daily activities include music, reading, arts & crafts, socialization, entertainment, and exercise to engage participants. A Registered Nurse provides medication management, health education, and supervision of Occupational and Physical Therapist Maintenance programs. Licensed therapists and counselors create individualized plans to improve social functioning and coping mechanisms. The center also focuses on enhancing independent functioning in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as self-feeding skills, basic hygiene, and upper extremity use. Career Support Services include pre-employment training, paid internships, job placement, and job coaching, with a focus on competitive integrated employment and community services.
