Charlie's Club Adult Day Health Program at St. Charles

Charlie's Club is the adult day health program at St. Charles Community, a senior services campus in Covington, Kentucky, sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame. It is meant for adults over 60 who live at home, often with a family caregiver, and gives caregivers daytime respite. The program addresses medical needs as well as social, physical and emotional needs, with a daily calendar of activities and wellness exercise. St. Charles also offers independent and assisted living on the same campus. It is licensed in Kentucky as an Adult Day Health program.

Staff provide medication administration, nursing assessments and medical services as ordered by each participant's physician, along with help with personal care and grooming. Two meals a day are prepared by the campus chef, and a daily calendar includes life-enrichment programs and wellness exercise. Physical, occupational and speech therapy are available on site if needed, and podiatry is available by request.

The program is on the St. Charles Community campus at 610 Farrell Dr, Covington, KY 41011. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. St. Charles notes that financial assistance may be available to those who qualify. Call (859) 331-3224 to ask about openings or schedule a tour.
