Sunrise Senior Center

Sunrise Senior Center is an adult day care center in Dallas for older adults and adults with disabilities. Its nursing staff (RNs and LVNs) provide medication assistance, health monitoring and restorative care, and the center serves meals and snacks, runs activities and offers transportation. One family describes how the bus driver walks their father, who has Alzheimer's, to the bus each weekday morning, and how participants eat, stretch and play games like bingo; a Spanish-language reviewer notes that people may qualify by being over 60, through UnitedHealthcare coverage, or through a disability. It is licensed by Texas Health and Human Services as a Day Activity and Health Services facility for up to 99 participants.

RN and LVN staff offer medication assistance, health monitoring and restorative care. Activities include crafts, games, exercise and live entertainment, and freshly prepared meals and snacks are tailored to dietary needs. The center provides transportation to and from the center and helps with essential trips such as doctor visits.
