HighPointe Services – Centennial Day Program

HighPointe Services is a Colorado nonprofit founded in 2004 that supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and its flagship center is in Centennial (Google lists the Englewood mailing address). Its adult day support program emphasizes education and community-based classes: each quarter participants build their own curriculum from a catalog of classes, outings and activities. The six-hour program day combines activities at the center with daily trips to shopping centers, recreation and fitness centers, museums and parks. Families quoted on the site and on Google describe compassionate, detail-oriented staff, though one family said their brother was turned down for the program without explanation. It is certified by Colorado's Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) as an adult day services provider.

Participants choose classes and activities each quarter, and HighPointe's Life Management team designs personalized plans that are reviewed for progress. Days include facility-based activities and outings to shopping centers, recreation facilities, fitness centers, museums and parks. Separate evening and weekend social clubs are held at the Centennial center, and the organization also offers residential and shared living services.
