The Adult Day Service (ADS) is a program of the Gallia County Council on Aging at its Senior Resource Center on State Route 160 in Gallipolis. It offers socialization, person-centered activities, nutrition, crafts, games and memory support, and gives families and caregivers respite. It welcomes older adults looking for company as well as people whose caregivers need time for work or other responsibilities. Reviews of the senior center mention good weekday lunches and company. Services & Care
Participants get snacks and a congregate lunch. A monthly calendar includes holiday crafts, painting, memory games and outings, and staff provide memory support and person-centered activities.
