Unique Lessons Learning Center, part of Dana's Habitat, Inc., is a licensed day support program for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Unique Lessons Learning Center was added in 2006 to expand these services. The center is non-gender-specific and provides equal opportunities for all participants. Unique Lessons Learning Center offers a comprehensive range of services designed to support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. These services include personal care, daily living skills, social interaction and communication, problem-solving, and behavior plans. The center also focuses on sensory stimulation, fine motor skills, and community integration to help participants develop essential life skills. The program is structured around each individual's Person-Centered Plan, developed in collaboration with the individual, their family, and a Case Coordinator. Activities are tailored to meet specific outcomes, with weekly opportunities for social and community integration. The center maintains a 4 to 1 staff-to-individual ratio, ensuring personalized support and guidance. This high level of care helps participants enhance their daily functioning, build self-worth, and achieve greater independence in their communities.

Unique Lessons Learning Center is located at 9220 Brook Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23060. The center operates Monday through Friday, from 7:45 am to 3 pm, providing structured day support services. As a Medicaid-accepted facility, it offers accessible care options for eligible individuals. The center serves adults aged 18 and older who have been diagnosed with mild to severe intellectual or developmental disabilities.
