Curative Connections is a Green Bay nonprofit whose Curry Lane building hosts several adult day programs: Social Rec and Enrichment for adults with disabilities and aging concerns, and small-group, large-group and reminiscent dementia care programs matched to each person's stage and comfort level. Dementia programs keep a 1:6 staff ratio, and the small group is limited to 12 members a day. Visitors describe a bright, welcoming building and caring staff, and some participants say they love seeing their friends there. It is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services as an Adult Day Care Center (ADCC) for up to 122 participants.
Services & Care
Staff help with personal care and nurses are on staff. Activities include physical exercise, games, creative projects, cooking and baking, therapy animals, gardening, music and outings, with a healthy lunch each day. The large dementia group goes on frequent outings and uses the courtyard, while the small group offers a quieter, less stimulating setting. Curative also runs specialized transportation services and caregiver support groups.
