Hollywood Adult Day Health Care

Hollywood Adult Day Health Care, also known as Daylight Hollywood Adult Day Health Care Center, provides Community-Based Adult Services for older adults and adults with health-related needs who live at home. The program combines nursing, therapy and exercise, social services, activities, meals and transportation under one roof, and it participates in Medi-Cal Managed Care. It runs Korean and Latino cultural programs alongside American classics on the menu. Families say their relatives look forward to attending, enjoy the activities and friendships, and find the staff kind and attentive. It is licensed by the California Department of Public Health as an Adult Day Health Care center.

Nurses provide health and blood-pressure monitoring, medication review and coordination with physicians and families. Participants take part in individual and group exercise and mobility support, arts and crafts, music, dancing, games and bingo, educational programs and cultural celebrations. Daily meals and snacks include Korean- and Latino-inspired dishes, with special diets offered where available. The center coordinates pickup and drop-off for eligible participants within its service area.

The center is at 5300 Santa Monica Blvd #100, Los Angeles, CA 90029. It is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed weekends. It participates in Medi-Cal Managed Care; coverage and authorization vary by health plan, and the enrollment team helps families check benefits.
