Valley Village Sunland Day Program

Valley Village, a subsidiary of Momentum, runs day programs in Winnetka and Sunland for adults with developmental disabilities and medical needs across the San Fernando Valley. At Sunland, its Medical Day Services program supports people who need ongoing medical oversight while they take part in daily activities and skill-building. Licensed nursing staff supervise the program, participants may receive physical and occupational therapy, and Valley Village lists a 1:3 staff-to-participant ratio with an individualized care plan for each person. It is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as an Adult Day Program for up to 80 participants.

Licensed nursing staff provide supervision in a structured setting, and participants may receive physical and occupational therapy. Valley Village's day programs focus on life skills, health and well-being, independence and community participation, with individualized program plans. Activities across its programs include art, music, fitness and community outings.
