Marshfield Area Respite Care Center, Inc.

The Marshfield Area Respite Care Center (MARCC) provides a serene social daycare program for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, or other dementia. Operating weekdays from 10am to 4pm, MARCC aims to enrich the lives of participants and offer peace of mind to caregivers. With over 20 years of service, the center has supported over 600 families, offering a welcoming environment with activities and communal meals.

MARCC specializes in memory care, offering a variety of activities such as playing games, music sessions, and light exercises. Participants enjoy meals and snacks together in a family-like setting. The center also hosts support groups for caregivers, including Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s groups, providing resources and community support.

MARCC is located at 211 S Maple Ave, Marshfield, WI, with a dedicated entrance at the back of Wesley United Methodist Church. The center operates Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm. Fees are $42 per day, $21 per half day, or $7 per hour, with scholarships and financial assistance available for those in need. Special funding options include United Way support and community donations.
