Oakwood Creative Care Central Mesa (Town Center) Day Club

The Central Mesa (Town Center) Day Club is an adult day program run by Oakwood Creative Care, a Mesa nonprofit, and has served the community for over 50 years. It serves adults with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury and other age-related physical or cognitive challenges, with creative arts, wellness exercises and cognitive education in a space with an outdoor garden, art studio and classrooms. It is licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services as an Adult Day Health Care facility for up to 50 participants.

Oakwood describes its day clubs as offering Cognitive Stimulation Therapy led by certified specialists, creative arts and music, and fitness such as chair yoga, dance and gardening.
