Project Independence

Project Independence, established in 1982, is a community-based, non-profit organization in New Bedford, MA, dedicated to serving seniors and adults with limitations. Their mission is to help individuals remain independent and live at home by providing skilled nursing care and engaging activities during the day. The center is Medicaid approved, handicap accessible, and licensed to accommodate 80 participants daily. The center operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and on Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, remaining closed on Sundays.
