ElderHouse Inc has been a trusted provider of adult day services in Norwalk, CT, and surrounding communities for almost 50 years. Their memory care program engages participants in activities that focus on cognitive function, short-term memory, and problem-solving. A registered nurse provides health monitoring, medication administration, and regular blood pressure checks. Meals are planned by a nutritionist and tailored to each client's dietary needs, with snacks and hydration offered throughout the day. Personal care services include assistance with grooming, showering, and toileting. Therapeutic recreation and daily exercise programs promote physical health and mental alertness. Transportation is available via ElderHouse's wheelchair-equipped vehicle, with friendly, experienced drivers ensuring safe rides. The center also offers respite care, counseling, and support groups for caregivers.

ElderHouse is located at 7 Lewis Street in Norwalk, CT, serving the surrounding communities of Darien, New Canaan, Stamford, Westport, Weston, and Wilton. The center operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Transportation is provided in the Norwalk area, with senior services in surrounding towns potentially accommodating clients outside the service area. ElderHouse offers a sliding fee scale for those needing financial assistance, making its services more affordable than home care, assisted living, or long-term care alternatives. Prior to enrollment, an assessment visit is scheduled to discuss individual needs, followed by a complimentary visit to experience the center's offerings. ElderHouse accepts charitable donations to support its programs and services.
