OCEANVIEW ADULT DAY PROGRAM

Oceanview Adult Day Program provides a one-of-a-kind social-recreational program designed to offer a variety of activities and community integration opportunities for adults aged 18-80. The program emphasizes living, loving, laughing, and learning, with a focus on enhancing quality of life through engaging activities and supportive services. Participants enjoy daily meals, including a hot breakfast beverage, morning snack, full lunch, and afternoon beverage bar. The facility is funded through Tri-Counties Regional center and welcomes individuals seeking a supportive and stimulating environment. The program is known for its friendly and knowledgeable staff who assist participants throughout their day. Activities are tailored to meet individual needs, promoting independence, physical functioning, and social stimulation. Highlights include Talent Shows, Adaptive Theatre, music, and nature walks along Bubbling Springs and Hueneme Beach. The program also offers counseling, anger management, and social skills support through an on-site Behaviorist.

The program provides assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and medication reminders to ensure participants' well-being. Participants engage in a variety of activities such as adaptive games, arts & crafts, theatrical performances, music, exercise, and dance. The program also features yearly graduations, movies, bingo, theatre events, and holiday & birthday parties. Additional services include manicurist services, music & singing courses, and nature walks. The experienced staff and volunteers are dedicated to fostering friendships, fun, and personal growth.
