AgeMaine, formerly Southern Maine Agency on Aging, runs this adult day program at its Portland Center at 2320 Congress Street, one of three adult day sites it operates in southern Maine. The program serves older adults living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia or other memory loss, mostly in the mild to moderate stages, in a home-like setting. Staff and volunteers offer person-centered activities, and the agency also provides caregiver coaching, support groups and dementia education. A reviewer calls AgeMaine an exceptional resource. It is licensed in Maine as an Adult Day Services Program for up to 25 participants.
