Choices for People is a nonprofit that has served people with disabilities in south-central Missouri for decades, and this St. Robert site is its Pulaski County day services location. The day program brings participants together in a supervised group to socialize and work on independent living skills, following person-centered plans. Activities include life skills, exercise, education, recreation and community volunteering. The program operates under the guidelines of the Department of Health and Senior Services, the Department of Mental Health and/or the Veterans Administration. It is licensed by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services as an Adult Day Care for up to 50 participants.
Services & Care
Participants follow person-centered plans with activities in life skills, exercise, education, recreation and community volunteering. The program provides nurse supervision, support staff, and morning and noon meals. Transportation is available within the service area; ask about availability.
