Elder-Well Adult Day Program – Santa Monica

Elder-Well Santa Monica is a social-model adult day program, part of the Elder-Well network of independently owned centers. It offers older adults a daytime alternative to being alone at home, built around conversation, small-group activities and each guest's routines, history and interests. Many guests are navigating memory changes, and the team offers person-centered support in a calm setting. Families describe kind, caring staff and say their loved ones are well cared for. It is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as an Adult Day Program for up to 30 participants.

Guests take part in art, music and crafts, pet and nature therapy, gardening, cooking, word games, sensory activities, reminiscence and themed celebrations. The program follows the social model rather than a medical model, and supports people with memory loss or dementia. The center does not provide transportation but can point families to local options such as the City of Santa Monica's MODE program.

Elder-Well is at 1529 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90403, directly across from UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, and is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
