Rosewell Adult Day Center

Rosewell Adult Day Center on Lynnhaven Parkway is part of Advanced Clinicians Specialty Services, which also runs mental health and home health services in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. The program serves aging adults, people with mild to moderate dementia, adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and those with chronic health conditions who need daytime supervision and support. Families and visitors describe a clean, homelike, beautifully decorated center and staff who tailor activities to participants' interests. It is licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services as an adult day care center for up to 26 participants.

Services include individual and group programming, health and wellness monitoring, and personal care assistance with activities of daily living. Activities include exercise, art therapy, music therapy, memory games and community outings, and daily meals and snacks are provided. The center also offers caregiver support and education, and can coordinate with its affiliated home health agency.

Rosewell Adult Day Center is at 1429 Lynnhaven Pkwy Units 101 & 102, Virginia Beach, VA 23453. Participant hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants must be 18 or older and able to leave the building in an emergency; the base rate starts at $85 per day, with extra charges for some services disclosed in advance and payment due weekly.
