Adult Enrichment Centers in York, SC, is dedicated to providing personalized care for adults of all abilities, fostering independence and community engagement. With three distinct programs—Thrive, Renew, and School of the Arts—the center caters to a wide range of needs, from medical assistance and memory care to neurodiversity and creative self-expression. Thrive is designed for older adults needing daily medical support, Renew focuses on individuals with mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer’s, and School of the Arts offers an inclusive environment for neurodiverse adults. The center emphasizes meaningful activities, socialization, and personalized care to enhance the quality of life for its members. The staff-to-member ratio is maintained at 1:8 across all programs, ensuring attentive and compassionate care.

Adult Enrichment Centers offers a variety of services tailored to the needs of its members. Thrive provides medical monitoring and daily assistance for older adults, while Renew specializes in memory care for those with Alzheimer’s or mild cognitive impairment. School of the Arts focuses on neurodiversity, promoting creative self-expression through culinary, visual, and performing arts. Activities across all programs include music, art, crafts, gardening, and games, with a focus on engagement rather than outcomes. Meals and snacks are provided for Thrive and Renew members, while School of the Arts members are responsible for their own meals. A registered nurse is on site daily at Thrive and Renew, and medical technicians are available at School of the Arts. The center also offers transportation for School of the Arts members and can recommend services for others.

Adult Enrichment Centers is located at 3 S Pacific Ave, York, SC 29745, with additional campuses in Fort Mill. Program hours vary: Thrive and Renew operate from 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, while School of the Arts has sessions from 7:30am to 12:30pm and/or 12:30pm to 3:30pm. Transportation is available for School of the Arts members only. Membership costs differ by program: Thrive and Renew offer Bronze (1 day/week), Silver (up to 3 days/week), and Gold (up to 5 days/week) service levels, priced at $550, $925, and $1,550 monthly, respectively. School of the Arts costs $500, $1,000, and $1,700 for the same service levels, with financial aid options available. Payments are made via auto-debit at the beginning of each month. The center is a nonprofit organization, and tours can be scheduled to explore the facilities.
