Desert Arc is a nonprofit that has served people with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1959, and its Morongo Basin Campus is in Yucca Valley. Its development programs offer socialization, skill building and community activities. The Adult Day Program uses an enhanced staff-to-client ratio to support daily living skills, social growth, pre-vocational training, volunteering, arts and leisure, and self-advocacy, while the Behavior Management Program supports people with behavioral barriers.
