EOC Tech Adult Day Center

The Adult Day Center is run by Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center (EOC Tech) on its Choctaw campus, in a building separate from the main school. It serves seniors and adults with disabilities who need socialization, health monitoring and help during the day, with professionally trained staff. Because it sits on a career-tech campus, the center hosts intergenerational programs and students earning practicum hours in health careers, EMT, paramedic and gerontology studies. It is licensed in Oklahoma as an adult day care center for up to 36 participants.

Each participant receives care from trained staff, lunch and snacks, recreational activities, entertainment, field trips and intergenerational programs. Transportation is available on a limited basis in Choctaw, Nicoma Park, Spencer and Midwest City.

The Adult Day Center is on the EOC Tech campus at 4601 N Choctaw Rd, Choctaw, OK 73020; use the second entrance and go to the far west side of the building. It is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and costs $11.44 per hour. Financial assistance may be available through the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, the Veterans Administration and the Medicaid Advantage Waiver program.
