Kindhearted Adult Social Center is the adult day program of Kindhearted Home Care, a Merrill home care provider that also runs a health and fitness center and respite services. The program serves frail or socially isolated adults, people with irreversible dementia or Alzheimer's, and adults with intellectual, physical or emotional disabilities or traumatic brain injury. Its goals include maintaining dignity and independence, helping delay the progress of memory loss, and easing isolation. It is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services as an Adult Day Care Center (ADCC) for up to 21 participants.
Services & Care
The center offers daily planned individual and group activities, including light exercise and games, arts and crafts, music and reflection, current events, relaxation and community outings, with visits from community volunteers. Staff assist with daily living and personal care needs. Kindhearted Home Care also offers shower and toenail care as a separate service.
