Homme Heights Adult Day Center

Homme Heights Adult Day Center is run by Homme Homes on its Forest Park Village campus in Wausau. It provides care and companionship during the day for older adults who need assistance or supervision, primarily people with Alzheimer's or dementia, who return home each evening. Each participant has an individual service plan, and activities include arts and crafts, cooking and baking, exercise, games and community outings. It is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services as an Adult Day Care Center for up to 21 participants.

Staff supervise daily cares such as medication administration, toileting, peri-care and dietary monitoring, guided by an assessment-based care plan. Activities include arts and crafts, cooking and baking, exercise, socializing, games, puzzles, cards and community outings. The noon meal and snacks are included. Bathing, beauty salon and foot treatments are optional at extra cost, and on-site physical, occupational and speech therapy is available when ordered by a physician.

The center is on the Forest Park Village campus at 2901 N 7th St, Wausau, WI 54403, and is open five days a week from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
