CARE is Lenox Hill Neighborhood House's arts-based day program for older adults living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Using a person-centered approach, it offers care and socialization for participants and respite for their caregivers and families. Programs such as music, art therapy, meditative movement, chair yoga and storytelling aim to support orientation, interaction, reminiscence and memory. It is listed in New York City's registry of social adult day care programs.
