Franciscan Adult Day Center

The Franciscan Adult Day Center is a ministry of New Cassel Retirement Center, offering daytime support services for adults diagnosed with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other special needs. It provides a viable option for seniors who can no longer be at home alone or are isolated due to disability. The center specializes in caring for older adults who benefit from cognitive engagement, structured activities, social opportunities, medication monitoring, and nutritious meals in a secure environment. The center provides therapeutic garden access, beauty shop services, and mobile podiatrist visits for an additional fee. Transportation to and from the center is available for a reasonable fee, with two accessible buses equipped with wheelchair lifts. The center participates in Veterans Administration, Medicaid, and Title XX programs through the Nebraska Department of Social Services. Caregiver support groups are also available, meeting on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month.

Transportation services are provided for participants, with two accessible buses available for morning pick-up and afternoon return.
