Reedley Training Center – The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties

Reedley Training Center is one of The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties' site-based adult day programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The programs serve individuals with complex needs, including those who need a high degree of support, with an individualized curriculum led by professional staff. The Arc also offers community integration programming in Reedley. A reviewer calls it a good place to go and relax. It is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as an Adult Day Program for up to 45 participants.

The Arc's adult day programs provide a structured environment with training in socialization, activities of daily living, vocational skills and educational experiences, using positive behavior interventions. They can support individuals with complex needs, including minor medical conditions, behavior challenges and limited self-help skills. Participants also take part in training activities that include community outings. The Arc also runs community integration programs in Reedley, with activities such as classes, exercise, cooking, arts and crafts and cultural outings, and transportation included in that program day.
