Empower Academy is an adult day program in South Sacramento serving adults with developmental disabilities at all levels of ability. Its person-centered program is built around five components: life skills, functional education, community access, vocational training and arts and expression. Activities include arts and crafts, music therapy, physical exercise, educational workshops and social events, and it also offers an Employment Pathway Program and a second location in El Dorado Hills. It is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as an Adult Day Program for up to 90 participants.
