Able ARTS Work San Diego

Able ARTS Work San Diego is one of three adult day programs run by Able ARTS Work, a nonprofit founded in 1982 to provide inclusive programming through the creative arts for people with developmental disabilities and autism. The program offers creative studio settings in music, drama and fine art, enriched with music and art therapy services so each person's plan is individualized. It runs on a part-time and full-time basis and welcomes clients from all regional centers. One reviewer raised concerns about restroom cleanliness and being spoken to like children. It is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as an Adult Day Program for up to 24 participants.

Studio activities include drawing and painting, mural painting, video production, photography, fiber arts, printmaking, music and drama.
