Empower NeuroRehab

Empower NeuroRehab provides day treatment and outpatient rehabilitation for people recovering from neurological injury, including traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, concussion and neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson's disease. Individual and group therapy is delivered by a multidisciplinary team in occupational, physical and speech therapy, social work, counseling and neuropsychology, with an emphasis on community participation and reintegration. Reviewers, including stroke survivors and people with Parkinson's, describe knowledgeable, kind therapists and thorough assessments. It is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as an Adult Day Program for up to 6 participants.

The day treatment program combines individual and group therapies from occupational, physical and speech therapists, social workers, counselors and neuropsychologists. Specialty services include cognitive rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, low vision rehabilitation and neuropsychological evaluations. Treatment emphasizes community participation and returning to everyday life.
