The Creative Center is a Visalia nonprofit arts center for adults with developmental disabilities, founded in 1977. Its visual arts department combines studio instruction, public art projects and exhibitions, including in its own Jon Ginsburg Gallery next door. The performing arts program teaches keyboard, drums, guitar, dance and drama, with public performances by the Creative Center Players and an in-house band. Reviewers mention lively events such as a Día de los Muertos celebration and artwork made by participants. It is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as an Adult Day Program for up to 115 participants.
