The Harbor Adult Day Program at Twin Lakes Community

The Harbor is a specialized adult day care program for people living with dementia, located in the Moneta Springs Memory Care residence at Twin Lakes Community, a Burlington retirement community. With room for only 12 participants, staff give each person individualized attention and engage them in stimulating activities through the day, while caregivers get respite. The program also supports caregivers with a monthly support group and educational opportunities. It serves Twin Lakes residents and people from Alamance, Caswell, Guilford and Orange counties. It is certified by North Carolina as an Adult Day Care program with Alzheimer's/dementia specialization, for up to 12 participants.

Staff give each participant individualized attention and lead stimulating activities throughout the day in a safe, comfortable setting. The program offers caregivers respite time, a monthly support group and educational opportunities.
