Assistive Services at Standifer Place runs its adult day program inside its assisted living community, so day participants share the same meals, activities and staff attention as full-time residents. It is meant for older adults who cannot be left alone all day but do not need to move into a facility, and families can choose every weekday or just a few days a week. Overnight respite stays are also available for a night, a week or longer. A family reviewer says her mother-in-law loves seeing friends, the food, the entertainment, bingo and the exercise program. Services & Care
Participants spend the day with trained caregivers, joining exercise, games, crafts, conversation and entertainment with assisted living residents. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are included, and meals are full meals developed by a registered dietitian. Overnight respite stays are available when caregivers need a longer break.
