Concerned, Inc. is a Harlan nonprofit serving people with disabilities through residential, employment and day services. Its Adult Day Services is an organized day activity program that helps participants get more involved in the community and build or keep independence skills. It is meant for adults who are ready to retire, are unable to work, or simply choose not to work. One family on Google says staff have cared for their daughter for years and she has grown more capable each year; another reviewer felt the day program was not active enough. It is licensed by the State of Iowa for Adult Day Services for up to 50 participants.

Activities may include crafts and hobbies, current events, community activities, music and art appreciation, social skills, volunteering, health, first aid and safety, and self-advocacy. Concerned, Inc. also offers supported community living and supported employment.
