High Hopes Head Injury Program is a Tustin nonprofit that has offered day treatment since 1975 for adults with traumatic brain injuries, strokes and multiple sclerosis. Its program combines cognitive rehabilitation, computer-assisted cognitive retraining and physical programs with art, music, pre-vocational training and independent living classes. The organization describes itself as low-cost and offers scholarship assistance for students who could not otherwise afford the program. Families and caregivers describe friendly staff and say participants enjoy attending. It is licensed by the California Department of Social Services as an Adult Day Program for up to 120 participants.
