ARC Voyagers Northeast Center

ARC Voyagers, the Franklin County nonprofit legally named ARC Industries Incorporated of Franklin County Ohio (it changed its public name from ARC Industries in July 2025), supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through employment and community access services. ARC Voyagers Northeast Center is one of its Adult Resource Centers, where people build confidence in new skills, explore their interests and widen their social circle through activities at the center and out in the community each day. Staff plan person-centered activities around each person's own outcomes, and ARC Voyagers says it keeps caregivers informed, with permission, about progress, upcoming events and any challenges. It is one of the two centers taking in participants from ARC Voyagers' West center, which closes December 1, 2026. ARC Voyagers accepts Ohio's home and community-based waivers for people with developmental disabilities and explores grant or private-pay options when available.

Each day includes activities in the center and in the community, with planned classes and group activities that connect participants with the local community. Activities are person-centered, and staff support each individual in working toward their own outcomes; some people come a few days a week and others more often. ARC Voyagers also runs ASPIRE small-group community programs and work-readiness and employment services for people who want to explore jobs, and it offers transportation to and from programs for eligible participants, discussed at intake based on funding, location and needs.

The center is at 500 N Hamilton Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230. Adult Resource Center services run Monday to Friday, typically from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. ARC Voyagers currently serves people in Franklin County, and its Service Enrollment Coordinator reviews programs, transportation, site options and funding with each person and their support network; families are encouraged to tour and talk with staff.
